I apologize in advance for the SHIT quality of my webcam and room lighting. I didn't want to go borrow a family member's camera simply to snap a photo of the dumb little doll I'm making.
Anyway. This is my first ever attempt at sewing anything, first time making a plush doll as well (obviously). I only learned how to thread a needle properly yesterday, so whoo for being a quick learner, I guess.
I used Lori-La-Tortuga's chibi plush pattern (and her tutorial as well!) for the base. It works great for noobs like me because there aren't any complex shapes and everything is quite primitive.
- Gray fleece
- Black craft felt (too thin, will use heavier weight next time around)
- Fiberfill stuffing
I've got to go to the craft store and buy some buttons for the eyes, and add a few minor touches (like his horns and Cancer symbol), but this plush is more or less finished. I've got plenty of gray fleece so I'll be making a few more after this one is done, maybe as presents to Homestuck-loving friends.
